Min: Russian investment volatility linked to trade wars, sanctions
GORKI, Moscow Region, Oct 15 (PRIME) -- Investment volatility in Russia is temporary and linked to trade wars and sanctions, Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin told reporters on Monday.
“If we look at the global situation, global companies are very careful about investment due to a wave of trade wars between the U.S. and China, the U.S. and its American neighbors, the U.S. and Europe and other states. This constrained attitude has, of course, expanded to Russia and is additionally multiplied by sanctions speculations,” he said and added that investment in Russia’s debt market is no exclusion.
“It seems to me that the volatility is temporary,” he added.
